Installation
Installation of overlays with double-sided Scotch.
NOTE.The temperature of the ambient air and the surface on which the PAD is pasted should be more than 15 degrees!!! If the street is cold, make the installation in the garage or in warm parking.
If there is no such possibility-use a hairdryer to heat the surface.
1) skimp the surface (alcohol, gasoline)
2) wipe dry with a clean cloth.
3) apply double-sided tape on the overlay or threshold (if already applied)
4) unglue the protective film of the Scotch tape
5) heat with a hair dryer (construction or conventional) Scotch to strengthen its adhesive qualities.
5) press the overlay or threshold to the selected place (pre-making sure the temperature is above 15 degrees)
6) for maximum bonding recommended after influence hot air flow with a hair dryer with outer side door sill, holding the threshold for 3-5 minutes. In the case of a plastic pad, heating can cause damage to the chrome coating. "Bubbles" can show up even after a while. To avoid this, do not allow overheating of plastic.
